A little more than a week after Lady Gaga suffered a concussion and some bruises from an onstage collision with a metal set piece on her Born This Way Ball, the singer got some good news: She's doing just fine.

"Went for an MRI," she tweeted on Wednesday (June 20). "No harm from the concussion but it appears my brain is just water and a large floating jellyfish." She then shared just who she got the check-up for, adding a little note to her dad. "@germanottajoe i had them check my noodle," she wrote. "that was your father's day present Il mio babbo!! I thought they were taking me to the zoo. TRICKS."

The injury took place on June 10 while the Mother Monster was in New Zealand when a dancer accidentally hit her with a set piece mid-song. She walked off during "Judas" only to return to the stage after a short break to perform 16 more songs. "I want to apologize," she later told the crowd. "I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don't you worry, I will finish this show."

Gaga will play several shows in Sydney, including a gig on Wednesday night. She'll play Australia through the remainder of this month before hitting up Europe in July. She has dates slated right through December abroad. She has yet to announce North American dates for her elaborate Born This Way Ball, with a gothic castle serving as the tour's main visual.

In addition to touring through the rest of 2012, Gaga will also release her first fragrance, Fame, in September, which also happens to be the month she will announce the title of her next album, the follow-up to 2011's Born This Way.

The folks at Hot 107.9 in Atlanta sure know how to throw a party. For their 17th annual Birthday Bash, the southern radio staple celebrated with a who's who of top rap talent like Lil Wayne, T.I., Usher, Rick Ross, Young Jeezy and about 20,000 hip-hop fanatics.

"Every time I come it's just a new energy," Miami MC Rick Ross told MTV News immediately after he jumped off the Philips Arena stage. "ATL, for the South, is a very special place, and I feel like anybody from the South, they're gonna recognize that and it's a beautiful thing. It was a wonderful night."

The magnitude of the concert still isn't lost on Lil Jon, a Birthday Bash veteran. "I can't even believe there has been 17 Birthday Bashes, and I probably been to 10 of them, so it's always good to be in the hometown where it all started from," he said.

Gucci Mane estimates that he's performed at the annual throwdown four or five times already. In 2010, he brought out his protégé Waka Flocka Flame, and this year, he graciously shared the stage with hometown favorite DG Yola, who was recently incarcerated. "I know the city's crazy about him, it's a good look for him so that made me feel good just seein' him goin' back getting' embraced by the city," Gucci said.

The Zone 6 rapper wasn't the only one with special guests. T.I. proved why he is widely regarded as the King of the South with an electric performance that included surprise cameos from Young Jeezy, Usher, Lil Wayne and Kelly Rowland.

The concertgoers weren't the only ones surprised when Kelly and Weezy performed their #1 hit "Motivation" together. "I didn't even expect to see her up there, I was just told I was coming out to 'Motivation.' I thought that was kinda weird," Tunechi told us. "Then when I seen her out there I understood everything."

"I supposed to put it in words, you saw the stage of Birthday Bash set on fire," T.I. said.

What is your favorite Birthday Bash memory? Let us know in the comments!

Slipknot: The Videos

As the release of Slipknot's first-ever best-of compilation, Antennas to Hell, approaches, it's a good time to look back at their evolution and history. And what better way to do that than by watching some (or all) of the kick-ass music videos they've released over the years?

Let's begin with the clips from their self-titled Roadrunner debut - "Wait and Bleed" (for which two videos were made) and "Spit It Out":

With their second album, Iowa, things really erupted, with videos for "My Plague," "Left Behind," and "People = Shit":

The flow of images only grew stronger with Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses, when the band made clips for "Duality," "The Nameless," "Vermillion," "Vermillion Pt. 2," "Before I Forget" and "The Blister Exists":

And for their fourth and most recent album, All Hope is Gone, the band released some of their most impressive and ambitious videos yet, for "Psychosocial," "Dead Memories," "Sulfur" and "Snuff":

Slipknot's Antennas to Hell will be available everywhere July 24. The band will be headlining this summer's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival tour, along with some individual concerts and their own two-day Knotfest - find a show near you!
