Jeremy's Thor's Day Pick: Fairmount
With an unusually high A&R rating in line with the rating of the public at large, you can bet there's something good to hear in this Norwegian quartet. As I stated in my own review, it's not that I'm looking for shorter, punchy songs, but this band really delivers.

What can we do to attract more indie bands?
We threw this question out to the community a few weeks ago and want to republicize it. Obviously Roadrunner is a bastion of metal and hard rock, but we are always looking to expand our horizons in curating and popularizing quality music. SignMeTo is a good way to do this, but the indie community there is still rather small.

Skin the Pig
With some killer artwork and a strong song entry on the site, this band are worth a listen. Originally from Northern Ireland, the sextet currently make their home in Manchester, England.
