An Interview With Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson - Part 2

In the continuation of our exclusive interview with Porcupine Tree frontman Steven Wilson, the video below shows the singer/guitarist looking back on all the band has accomplished since releasing their widely received 2009 album The Incident.

Wilson remarks not only on the band's journey with this album, but also reflects on how amongst the fans, "something changed" where "[Porcupine Tree] just seemed to be more respected and accepted." And with his published and documented thoughts on changes in the music industry as a whole, Wilson goes on to contend that this is a result of the overall larger emphasis on multimedia and live performance, which has always made up a large part of who Porcupine Tree are.

See what he had to say in the player below, and check back Friday for the 3rd and final installment of our extensive chat with the frontman and subject of the 2010 documentary Insurgentes.
