It is already #1 on the Irish pop singles chart, and this weekend look for Little Mix to conquer the UK pop singles chart as well with their first release "Cannonball." Last weekend the girl group became the first group to win X Factor UK in its 8 year history. Their first single is a cover of Damien Rice's ballad "Cannonball." The song has been released a week earlier than the first singles by X Factor winners have been in the past. That means "Cannonball" will be on its second week of sales when it battles for the Christmas #1 spot. For now, Little Mix will bask in the glow of being the UK's hottest new girl group.
