The four man group Human Nature spent 10 years from 1997 through 2007 as one of the most successful of Australian pop groups. During that time they released seven platinum certified albums and three that charted at #1. The group also landed in the top 10 of the pop singles chart seven times. Their most successful album was 2005's Reach Out: The Motown Record. It was a shift in style from boy band pop to soul with new versions of classic Motown songs. The group released two more collections of Motown classics and caught the attention of Smokey Robinson.
