When Young the Giant were in town for their much-anticipated residency at this year's CMJ Music Marathon, we took frontman Sameer Gadhia and drummer Francois Comtois to NYC's famed Generation Records to talk about their favorites, and pick up some new 12 inches. In part 1, the guys told us about some cool tunes they've been spinning in their van on the road, and in part 2 below, the guys fill us in on some other favorites before hitting the shelves and then hitting the stage to perform at Piano's.
