It looks like UK rap music may definitely be coming into its own as rapper Tinie Tempah leads this year's Brit Award nominations with four mentions and rapper Plan B receives nominations for both British Album and British Single of the Year. The impact of the hit talent show X Factor is obvious in the Single of the Year nominations. Three former contestants are listed along with current judge Cheryl Cole. The Brit Awards will be handed out on February 15, 2011 just two days after the 2011 Grammy Awards. Comedy actor James Corden will be the host. Key nominations are listed below.
