Tragedy has struck 19 year old Filipino singer Charice and her family. According to news reports, her 40 year father was stabbed to death in an encounter with a drunken man near Manila in the Philippines. Charice has been estranged from her father, but she has said in interviews they had a strong relationship. As a result of the tragic killing she cancelled planned concerts this week to return to the Philippines to be with her family. Our best thoughts of sympathy are with them all.
