Kelly Clarkson is just one step away from her third #1 pop single. That will be the story when the Billboard Hot 100 is officially released tomorrow morning. Her song "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" rises a swift six notches to #2 to rest just behind Adele's third #1 smash "Set Fire To the Rain." "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" has moved to #1 in sales and is swiftly climbing radio airplay charts. It is already Kelly Clarkson's 10th top 10 pop hit. This is also the first time she has logged two consecutive top 10 singles since 2004 and 2005 when she generated four consecutive top 10 hits from the album Breakaway. The current album Stronger was a #2 chart hit and has sold over 500,000 copies for a gold certification. Kelly Clarkson is likely to earn a boost to her sales when she sings the national anthem before Sunday's Super Bowl.
