For those who were waiting for another mainstream pop-oriented song from B.o.B., you will have to wait a little longer. "Strange Clouds," the first single from his upcoming second album, is harder edged hip hop. It definitely has a catchy, melodic chorus, but the rhymes hit hard. Lil Wayne is a guest here, and the two voices and sensibilities blend well. Lyrically, the song is focused on self-promotion and dismissal of any haters. "Strange Clouds" leaked just a bit early.
