It is obvious from the first frames of Chris Rene's video for "Young Homie" that the director, hip hop video veteran Jeremy Rall, is also an award-winning photographer. This clip from the former X Factor USA contestant is simply gorgeous. It was shot in his hometown of Santa Cruz, California and is infused with the song's message, "Love life!" Chris Rene wrote the song "Young Homie" himself in response to his efforts at rehabilitation from substance abuse. He performed in his X Factor audition, and it has become his first single after finishing third in the competition. "Young Homie" is beginning to make a pop chart impact having climbed into the top 50 in pop radio airplay. Check out the beautiful video below.
