Are Stooshe the New Spice Girls?

Stooshe insist they are not a girl group. Instead they prefer to use the term "collective" to note they are not cookie cutter versions of each other. However, with the strong personalities and air of female empowerment, there is more than a hint of Spice Girls influence in the air. The group first appeared online with the attention getting "F**k Me" in April 2011.  The song has now been reworked into a single titled "Love Me" featuring a guest rap from Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes. It is officially released Tuesday, March 4, 2012 in the UK and looks set for a stellar chart opening. Warner Bros. signed Stooshe to a recording contract in August of 2011 and in October the group's song "Betty Woz Gone" received radio airplay on BBC Radio 1. "Love Me" is now the buzz group's first official single. It precedes a debut album titled Swings and Roundabouts expected later this year. Check out Stooshe with Travie McCoy below.
