Do you think Maroon 5 are hot? It looks like they are the hottest group at pop radio since the heyday of boy bands more than a decade ago. This week Maroon 5's new single "Payphone" featuring Wiz Khalifa will have the biggest debut on the mainstream pop radio chart, at #21, by a group since *NYSNC roared in at the same spot with "Pop" clear back in June of 2001. "Payphone" also has the highest debut of any group at adult pop radio, opening at #17, in the chart's 16 year history. The song has also been ruling the iTunes sales chart for the past week, so that ensure a very high Billboard Hot 100 debut for Maroon 5. "Moves Like Jagger" was no fluke. Maroon 5 are looking like the hottest pop group of the moment.
