Machine Head's Dave McClain Talks About Record Store Day

Machine Head drummer Dave McClain talks about Record Store Day and why it is important to support your local music shop. Machine Head will be releasing an exclusive 10" vinyl entitled The Black Procession on April 16th in support of Record Store Day. The vinyl features live footage from Machine Head's final show on The Black Procession tour. Machine Head is currently working on their next album, due out later this year.



Swedish progressive metal masters Opeth will also be releasing an exclusive piece for Record Store Day. The Throat Of Winter 7" vinyl includes the title track, which was originally featured on the God of War: Blood & Metal digital EP. This will be the only physical incarnation of the track. Side B of the 7” is etched with the band’s logo and jacket artwork was created by longtime Opeth collaborator Travis Smith, with direction from Mikael Åkerfeldt.
