It is still not often that a Glee version of a hit song is actually better than the original recording. However, this version of Katy Perry's recent #1 hit "Teenage Dream" is one of the exceptions. Performed by an a capella male choir at a rival school, the Warblers singing "Teenage Dream" is pure magic. The harmonizing is elegant, and it sounds great without the video accompaniment. However, don't miss the video. Featuring new cast member Darren Criss, the choreography is fun and shouldn't be missed. This morning Glee's "Teenage Dream" is sitting at #1 on iTunes with an additional four songs from last night's "Never Been Kissed" episode in the top 10. Look for "Teenage Dream" to ultimately rank among the Top 10 Glee Songs.
