The list of great pop music performances slated for Thanksgiving Day has just gotten longer. Kid Rock is set to perform the title song from his new album Born Free at halftime during the first game of a televised NFL triple-header. It is a game between the Detroit Lions and New England Patriots. The performance is expected on CBS at 12:30 p.m. ET, Thursday, November 25, 2010. The halftime show is also planned to include the participation of more than 1,000 people with National Guard families among them. Former American Idol contestant and country star Josh Gracin will perform the national anthem before the game. Kid Rock's Born Free is expected to sell a total of 160,000 or more copies in its first week of release and debut inside the top 10 on the album chart. This would be his fifth consecutive top 10 studio album.
