Glee's "Hey, Soul Sister," Florence and the Machine, and "The Living Years" Add Up To a Blockbuster Week On the Way

Simply judging on listening to the music, Glee looks set for a blockbuster week with their episode "Special Education" airing tomorrow night Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Most of the six songs for this show could be a centerpiece of any number of previous Glee episodes. The all-male a capella style of the Dalton Academy Warblers, this time including Chris Colfer's Kurt character, is revisited with a sparkling version of "Hey, Soul Sister." Florence and the Machine's "The Dog Days Are Over" which electrified viewers of this year's MTV Video Music Awards is given a grand Glee treatment. There is a true majesty to the full gospel style performance of Mike and the Mechanics' "The Living Years" as performed on the show by sectionals competitors The Warren Township Continuing Education Program Hipsters. There is even a gorgeous pair of versions of Evita's "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" by Lea Michele and Chris Colfer. Look for iTunes to be truly swamped by Glee this week.
