If you were expecting a repeat of "Whip My Hair" for Willow Smith's second single, you will either be very relieved or seriously disappointed. The new single heads in a self-assured mainstream dance pop direction. This sounds like real arrival of this precocious 10 year old as a serious pop artist. Don't be turned off by the fact that she is only 10 years old. "21st Century Girl" rivals the recent work of the top adult pop artists of today. Willow Smith will appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show tomorrow to perform the song which is likely to give it a serious boost. Read much more in the review of "20th Century Girl."
