It does seem like some time since we've heard anything new from 2009 American Idol winner Kris Allen. On Monday night while opening in concert for the band Lifehouse in Detroit, he performed a new song titled "You Got a Way." It is a beautiful love ballad and is expected to be included on the next Kris Allen album due later this year. Reportedly, he co-wrote the song with band member Cale Mills. Kris Allen's biggest hit is his cover of the Script's "Live Like We're Dying." It was a #3 adult pop hit and a top 10 mainstream top 40 pop hit while rising to #18 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Live Like We're Dying has sold over 1.6 million copies. Kris Allen defeated Adam Lambert in the 2009 series of American Idol. Check out Kris Allen below.
