Maybe Lil Wayne's new album Tha Carter IV will sell a million copies in its first week of release later this month. Lil Wayne and his Cash Money label group partner Drake are showing serious commercial clout today. Their collaborative single "She Will" was released to iTunes today, and it is currently sitting at #1 on the sales chart. Lil Wayne has already hauled in over two million in sales of the "6 Foot 7 Foot" single, one million of "How To Love" and 500,000 of "John," all singles from the upcoming Tha Carter IV album. Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III sold over one million copies in its first week of release in 2008. It has since amassed sales of over 3.6 million making it easily the rapper's biggest hit collection to date. His follow up Rebirth was disappointing in its rock explorations and has limped to just over 680,000 in sales. Tha Carter IV is widely seen as his return to form both artistically and commercially. The album hits stores in just two weeks August 29, 2011.
