TV continues to be a driving force behind selling pop music in the US. Maroon 5 delivered a high energy performance of their new single "Moves Like Jagger" last night on America's Got Talent and today it is sitting at #3 in iTunes sales. Over at Amazon it has surged into the top 10. The song is a major comeback for the band. When it entered the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 upon initial release and introduction on The Voice, "Moves Like Jagger" was the first Maroon 5 song to hit the pop top 10 since 2007. Christina Aguilera was not on hand on America's Got Talent to perform with the group, but it is a pop chart renaissance for her as well. The last time she landed in the pop top 10 was in 2008. This week on the Billboard Hot 100 "Moves Like Jagger" took a 16 notch leap to #25. Look for it to jump forward again next week. Check out Maroon 5's America's Got Talent performance below.
