An official new single from Kelly Clarkson is not expected until August and a full-length album in September. However, the new song "Let Me Down" has leaked in demo form. It sounds like a cross between the intensity of My December and bright pop of "My Life Would Suck Without You," and that's a very good thing. Kelly Clarkson remains one of the most powerful and talented singers in pop music today. Last spring she said, "This album was influenced by Prince, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow, Radiohead and there's a little bit of a country vibe/influence on a couple of songs." Reportedly the album is complete and just in final stages of preparation for release. All four of Kelly Clarkson's previous solo albums have reached the top 3 on the album chart, two of them have hit #1. In addition she has eight top 10 pop singles, two of those are #1 hits.
