The song "Monster" by Paramore, the band's first since the exit of the Farro brothers last December, seems to be about the band's resilience and ability to survive such a negative situation. However, the new music video released for the song seems to tell a different story. As directed by Shane Drake, who the band have worked with in the past, Paramore finds a creepy, ruined hospital to be inescapable. There is also imagery of the group members partially submerged in water which matches "Monster's" opening lyrics, "You were my conscience so solid, now you're like water and we started drowning."
