Tyler Connolly Talks Theory Of A Deadman's New Album With Billboard

Theory of a Deadman frontman Tyler Connolly talks about the personal experiences that led to the dark lyrical tone of the band's new album, The Truth Is..., in a new article on Billboard.com.

Connolly tells the writer that many of the songs on The Truth Is..., which came out July 12 and is already a Top Ten album  on Billboard's Top 200, were inspired by his recent divorce. "A lot of it stems from the relationship ending...ending not to my liking, me having to deal with the consequences, continuing life in a strange city, all alone. It's all true, which is a good thing; it would be funky if people were like, 'Why does the album sound like this?' and I'd be going, 'I dunno...'"

Theory of a Deadman will be hitting the road soon on the Carnival of Madness tour with Black Stone Cherry, Alter Bridge, Adelitas Way and Emphatic.
