Megadeth's Dave Mustaine Tweets About Recovery From Surgery

Megadeth leader Dave Mustaine offered the above update on his condition following his recent neck surgery. The TreadClimber he mentions is a cardiovascular exercise machine, similar to a treadmill.
Mustaine underwent surgery to relieve stenosis in his neck; it's a bone disease that causes the spinal canal, the space within the vertebrae through which the spinal cord passes, to narrow. The pain from his condition nearly caused him to cancel the band's appearance at the "Big Four" concert in New York's Yankee Stadium, but he played through it - to relive that event, check out our exclusive photo gallery.
Megadeth's next studio album, TH1RT3EN, will be in stores November 1, but you can pre-order it (on CD or deluxe double picture disc vinyl) at this location.
