Video: Opeth's Mikael Akerfeldt Goes Through Heritage Track-By-Track (Complete)

Opeth's latest studio album, Heritage, is a major departure for the band, leaving behind the death growls and savagely heavy riffing that have been among their sonic trademarks for most of their career, in favor of a more complex, rhythmically supple and progressive sound. This has left many fans somewhat surprised and confused. Well, frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt is here to explain it all for you.

The video below completes the three-part series during which he takes you through Heritage track by track. Enjoy his thoughts on "Famine," "The Lines in My Hand," "Folklore" and "Marrow of the Earth."
