It appears that the planned Michael Jackson tribute concert will go on this weekend October 8, 2011 in Cardiff, Wales as planned despite complaints from both fan groups and members of Michael Jackson's family that the timing is very poor coming during the manslaughter trial connected with his death. If you can not make it to Wales or afford the concert tickets, you may still watch the concert live. However, unlike Lollapalooza, iHeartRadio, or Rock in Rio, you will not be able to see it for free. It will cost approximately $3.99 in advance or $4.99 the day of the event. The Michael Jackson tribute will be the first ever live pay-per-view event on Facebook. A "significant amount" of the proceeds for the event are going to charity, but it is unclear exactly how much. Among the artists expected to participate are Christina Aguilera, Beyonce via video link, Leona Lewis, and Cee Lo Green.
